Wpływ czynników psychogennych na przebieg
łysienia plackowatego

Łysienie plackowate jest częstš chorobš skóry,
która w istotny sposób wpływa na stan psychiczny
chorych. W pracy przedstawiono próbę oceny zmian
psychopatologicznych u osób z łysieniem plackowatym oraz
retrospektywne badanie występowania i nasilenia zdarzeń życiowych
poprzedzajšcych wystšpienie choroby. Ocenie poddano 35 chorych z
rozpoznanym łysieniem plackowatym, u których przeprowadzono
badania dermatologiczne oraz psychiatryczne. U tych chorych stwierdzano
większe nasilenie depresji, obecnoć objawów wycofania oraz
agresję. Występował u nich wyższy poziom lęku oraz problemy z
koncentracjš. Można zatem wnioskować, że chorzy z łysieniem plackowatym
charakteryzowali się większš ilociš problemów
psychologicznych w porównaniu z grupš kontrolnš
Influence of psychogenic factors on the clinical course of alopecia
areata
Key words: alopecia areata, etiology, stress
Alopecia areata is a common cutaneous disease that has important
influence on the emotional status of patients. In the study the attempt
was made to evaluate psychopathologic changes in alopecia areata
patients. Retrospective study of occurrence and intensity of stressful
life events before the onset of the disease was also undertaken. 35
patients with diagnosed alopecia areata underwent dermatological and
psychiatric examinations. These patients were characterized by higher
level of depression and aggression, as well as withdrawal symptoms.
They had elevated anxiety level and problems with concentration. It can
be concluded that alopecia areata patients are characterized by a
higher number of psychological problems in comparison with control
group.
